Need recs for good cheap italian
My boyfriend and I are taking both sets of parents out to dinner together for the first time this weekend. We're looking for a casual italian place that's good but reasonably priced (entrees under $20). We were considering the following...Supper, Bianca, and Malatesta. I'm open to suggestions and appreciate your advice! Gramercy, East Village, LES would be preferable, but also willing to head over to the West side for a hidden gem.
Birthday dinner with parents - I'm stumped!
My parents are coming into the city next Wednesday to celebrate my birthday. Does anyone have any suggestions for a cute, cozy place that's not too expensive? I'd prefer to stay away from italian since I'm going to Il Buco the following night. Was thinking about Alta, but not sure how well small plates will go over with the parents. Gramercy, East Village, West Village, etc...any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
