I know this isn't the Home Cooking board but I'll tell you how to make shliskes in a couple of minutes. You can buy packaged gnocchi in many supermarkets, there is even a kosher brand. Boil them up, coat with buttered breadcrumbs and fry a little while in some more butter or oil.
