Wedding Reception on a VERY Tight Budget in LA

Don't know if they'd do it for that price, but the restaurant is great - both food and atmosphere. And, it's a good cause.
Dim sum off the cart in Chinatown/downtown LA
Whoops - meant to say Monterey Park - not Elysian.

I'm looking for the best place to get dim sum without heading to Alhambra, Elysian Park, or elsewhere outside of LA. The reviews I've found for dim sum in Chinatown haven't been great though. Anyone have Chinatown dim sum recommendations - preferably at a place with a cart?
Holiday lunch, 30 people, $20 each, Must have parking in Downtown/Silverlake/Echo Park
Thanks. I'll check it out!
Other places we've found that might work, in case anyone reads this in the future to look for their own ideas:
Masa of Echo Park (no private room, but a cute place that fits the budget. city lot near by for 25 cents an hour)
Andiamo in Silverlake (Pizza place, no private room but plenty of parking in lot and underground) - Nothing exciting inside, but it would fit the price and parking.
Shojin Organic and Natural (validated parking) - haven't visited this one yet, so I'm not sure.
if anyone has thoughts on whether these would be good or not, let me know!
I'll look into Phillipes and Sixth Street Bar and Grill!

I just checked again, thinking it might not be horrible to head to this place even though we've all been, but it looks like too many of the plates on the lunch menu are a bit pricey, with 5 items above $15. I hate to tell everyone they can order anything but those 5 items. I may check into Taix making us a special menu for the day that doesn't include those items. Hopefully they'd be up for having a more limited menu and making their jobs more easy?

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, this one is used for interviews so most people have been there already.

I'm in charge of picking a place for our holiday lunch. Our business is just west of downtown. The budget is only $20 per person, including tax, tip, and a soda! The other kicker is the place has to have parking. Otherwise, 30 cars showing up for street parking at the exact same time is a nightmare. And, people generally aren't willing to pay more than a couple bucks for parking.
I'd prefer to avoid Chinese and Mexican, but I'm still open minded.
I'd prefer a private room, but again, I'm open minded there.
Any ideas? The cost and the parking are really making this impossible! The luncheon is December 10th at 12:00.
This doesn't have to be anything fancy - a nice sandwich place would even work.
Help!!
