The Olive Oil Boutique (yonge and lawrence) Tried the minestrone soup and had a sandwich there... was good for a mid-afternoon snack! |

Weekday 'brunch' downtown Toronto Frans on College is a good choice if you like diner food! |

I think you'll enjoy Grazie and Tabule with the family. The pastas and desserts at Grazie are great... I would be overjoyed to order from that dessert menu as a kid! Tabule is fun to eat at, especially if the waiter does that little trick where he pours the water from way up high in those homemade jugs of theirs. I wouldn't recommend Celestin... it's quite overpriced for what the food is, and I would even say it borders on pretentious. I'd like to add Mariachi's (Mexican) to the list. It's a little south of Eglinton and their guacamole is good, and the kids will have fun eating out of that mortar and pestle they serve it in! |

Recommendations for casual lunch at Bay Bloor? I second (or third) the New York Deli... the latkes there are the best! |
