Looking for a private room in manhattan for a dinner for 16 in March. If Blue Ribbon could fit more than 10 I would go there to give you an idea of food/ambience. Thanks for ideas in advance.... |

Italian in the Meatpacking District??? I have some friends coming in from Seattle who are demanding to eat in the Meatpacking District and specifically asked for Italian. I have been to Del Posto and thoroughly enjoyed it but it is booked from now until about 2009 (nice to be Batali). Any other suggestions? Is Nero any good? Thanks! |

Help with feeding 15 in Seattle??? I am heading up to a cabin in the Mt Rainier area this weekend and need to bring food for about 15 people for dinner on Friday night. I was thinking about bringing lasagna, salad, garlic bread, etc. I cannot find anyplace that does prep for 15 TO GO in Seattle? Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks! |

Try the Southern Kitchen in Tacoma. Everything there is great including the Bread Pudding. Enjoy! |

I had dinner @ Volterra last Saturday night and had a wonderful meal and had no issues with the reservation system. It is very simple... you call and leave a message and they call you back to tell you if they can accomodate your reservation or not? I did not have to punch in any numbers, etc. Anyhoo...had the veal chop and the beet salad and my friend had the eggplant "pouches" and both were excellent. Great wine list as well. Enjoy! |

I found a pretty decent place that is only open from 11-2pm and has a very limited menu but close to the office and isn't bad for a quick fix! Hole in the Wall Barbecue |

Thanks for all the feedback! I tried Willie's House of Soul yesterday and it was very very ok. He closes @ 8pm and I got there @ 7:50 so Willie wasn't so siked to see me ( I should have left then!). |
