Trader Joe's coming to KC!

Happy Happy!! Joy Joy!! Can't wait!! But I think it kinda dumb to have the two so near to each other. Would have put the Ward parkway one up north or out west in the Independence Center area.

2 Foodies Getting Married in KC - Caterer Recommendations?

Treat America!!! HA HA HA, you would be better off having Hy-vee cater it, think she is looking for someplace with out of this world food, then a company known for their vending machines and school food services business.

KC visit round up (long)

Have to disagree on the Chicken Ranch, tried it twice and both times got over cooked dry chicken, soaked in grease. Luke warm side dishes. A bad meal at Strouds was 100x better.

Last bbq post before our KC trip--help me over the hump

LC's Burnt ends blows Bryant's out of the water, also very good are the ribs and beans. Get the Lamb ribs and cheesey corn at Jack Stack, Skip Gates and go to OKlahoma Joe's, they have good bbq all the way around.

Non-mall dinner KC

As a Chicago boy living in Kansas City, I think Pizza Bella is on the same par as Spacca Napoli and is way above Coalfire. Coalfire is so hit or miss, but more times a miss, bland cheese, over salted sause and some of the take out pizzas has been cold soggy messes.

What happen to the old BabyCakes? lol

What's to eat in Ste. Gen. MO?

If you have time for a winery tour, You should check out Crown Vally winery, some very good wine.

Best Hamburger in Midwest

They reopened the Wheel Inn on Hwy 65, so you still can get your Guber burger !

Last minute visit to KC from NYC

I would drop the Bristol, like Katie said. Also the Mixx been hit or miss the last couple of times we been. I also think if you have to pick one burger place, the Blanc Burger is way better then Chefburger. Would add Micheal Smith in the crossroads to the list.

Blanc Burgers + Bottles- KC

We visited Blanc Burgers last night. We both had the blue cheese burgers and we split a order of sweet potato fries and a order of pale ale onions rings. The burgers was cooked perfect, and both sides was hot, crisp and very fresh tasting. After getting slow service, luke warm burgers and very greasy fries. not once but twice at Chefburgers. Blanc Burgers knocks Chefburger out of the water. We can wait to visit again.

One BBQ Meal in KC Can't Decide b/w LC's and Jack Stack

Jack Stack is good, but I think LC's burnt ends are the better of the two, way better. Lately I think Jack Stack is a hit and miss lately, I think lately it's more about their bottom line then the food.

Big Hot and Gooey Cinnamon Rolls in KC.

You need to go to Big Momma's in Raytown, they have the best cinnamon rolls, bout as big as your head! lol Not only the cinnimon rolls are good, they have some of the best donuts in town.
