I have to include a vegan (gag) dish for Passover this year. Does anyone have any ideas? |

Potato knish casserole [moved from Site Talk board] Yeah, I saw that one but it doesn't have yeast in it, so I don't think that was the one. |

Potato knish casserole [moved from Site Talk board] Help! Somewhere a while ago I had a mashed potato casserole that tasted like a knish but without the dough. It did have yeast in it and carmelized onions I actually found a recipe but accidentally deleted it and now can't find another. It's really great for a lot of people without the fuss of making individual knishes. |

And there's also the Popover Cafe right next door which is also very good for brunch. |

Woah, thanks clomar. This one looks like it will fit the bill; closer to the theater than Otto and I called, they'll take a party of 10. |

For a real NY experience and great food I'd try Barney Greengrass on Amsterdam between 86th and 87th. Great smoked fish platters but they have other breakfast options. ----- |

Good suggestions, all! I'm leaning toward Otto or Grand Sichuan. ----- |

This for Tuesday night. I'd say $25 per person w/o alcohol and tips would be okay. |

We'll be 10 people going to a film at the IFC in the West Village with dinner to follow. We want a place with good food, any type of cuisine, but nothing fancy or too expensive. Any suggestions? |

I'm going to be dropped to do some shopping at Neiman Marcus' Last Call in Tempe. Is there any place to have a delicious lunch that's within walking distance? Any type of food is fine as long as it's very good. |

Thanks. Great suggestions. |

I'm going to a wedding next week and staying at the Portolo which is a 3-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Any suggestions for some very decent seafood; not too expensive? |

i know we did pass a try along prepared food but my memory is hazy about whether the food was brought to the table or we got it ourselves. My sister is sure we took the Army exit, though. |

A few years ago I went to a wonderful Mexican restaurant in the Mission District but can't remember anything about it except that it was cafeteria-style. Anyone have any ideas? |
