Happy Hour in Baltimore

There are a number of restaurants doing happy hour specials. If you like a good pasta, check out Sotto Sopra's happy hour - discount drinks, lite bites and $10 pastas at the bar in a very stylish setting. Also check out www.600block.com that has all kinds of specials going on around the city from the funky to the sublime.

Classic Baltimore diners?

"Decent food" is being generous. I've always walked out of there disappointed. I give them high marks on atmosphere.

Searching for cooking classes?

I was looking for classes in Baltimore -- taught by local chefs. I am aware of L'Acadamie - they are great classes, a bit more professional. I'm looking for more recreational. Someone told me about Sotto Sopra's chef doing cooking classes and the price seems reasonable so I'll do that but also looking for some diversity.
