Looking for Kosher restaurant/take out open late - i.e. 11pm + for late flight arrival.
A bonus would be somewhere between(or at least no too far off the beaten track) LAX and Universal.

Tierra Sur in Oxnard little too pricey. Have been advised of Delice Bistro, La Gondola,Pat's and Judy's.

Cafe Emunah in Fort Lauderdale has delicious food. It is a seafood restaurant (non meat). Was there three weeks ago and unfortunately was in a hurry so could not savor the wonderful cuisine at leisure. You won't be disappointed!

Kosher eating is such a "dynamic" activity in the Bay Area, that i'm not sure what is still around today from two years ago.
Can someone suggest Kosher establishments that are currently open (Kitchen Table excluded)? Any decent pizza stores around?

Opened today - Sunday October 24th, 2010 at Noon.

Was just there on Thursday 10/14/2010, upon recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately, due to a looming flight (15-20 minutes away), could not spend more than 1/2 hour there and talk to Chef.
HOWEVER, the food was absolutely delicious and the sushi we took to go, was positively the best we had ever eaten in our long career.
Will go back there in a heartbeat and recommend you do so too.

King Kosher off Kings Highway is a full service supermarket with mini sores (deli, bakery. fish. cheese, meat etc.) within the store. Free parking underground parking next door with a $30 purchase and you get a 10% discount if you shop between 7 - 10am!

No, but there is a new "Argentinian" steak house called El Gaucho on 18th Avenue in Brooklyn.

You can purchase Darrell Lea soft licorice from Australia. It is available in the US in various packaging and flavors. i.e. Green Apple, Mango and of course Black. The 7 oz packages have a OU, but Trader Joe's also has 1 lb tubs (without the OU). i'm not sure if they are also under supervision, although ingredients etc are identical and both are imported from Australia.
Btw, it is spelled LIQUORICE down under!

It seems strange however that there are a "million" micro and regularly brewed foreign beers available in any big city and VB can't be had!
The Australian airports have these six packs of assorted beers suitable for carrying on a plane, but VB is just one of many.

Does anyone now if you can get VB (Victoria Bitter) draught or other in the US?

There is an Inn with kosher food service opening in Tannersville, NY called the Golden Leaf Inn.
