Special dinner near Manchester Vt Chanticleer for sure...he really does cook everything well. I have heard nice things about Silver fork, but we have not been so I can't say. If your going to drive, hit up SoLo Farm & Table, it will be worth the trip. |

Solo Farm &Table...Well thought out, perfectly executed. My favorite of many nice dishes was the chicken liver mousse...dang that is good stuff! It is so nice to have an amazing restaurant 15 minutes away in South Londonderry. |

Green Cup in Waitsfield, Hen of the Wood in Waterbury, Salt in Montpelier. All three are hip and locally driven, and all three are very good. Congratulations! ----- Green Cup Cafe |

Ramunto's Pizza coming to Keene, NH- sad to see a chain, but curious about how it is? Best Pizza in VT/NH. I would not worry that they have a handful of stores. Claremont is the my favorite, cool mill atmosphere and killer food. |

21st birthday in Burlington, VT The Green Room is semi-swanky for a cocktail. Church and Main should have good food and drinks. Bluebird has great drinks and food...by far my favorite, but a little off the beaten path. Have Fun! ----- |

Verde would have loved to participate, but restaurant week fell during our "Mud Season" break. I think like Bri mentioned Burlington is a ways from here. It's a bummer but not to many restaurants down south are paying attention to what 7days is doing. The Rutland Hearald, the Journal, the Message, and so on need to do a better job promoting local restaurants like 7days. |

Best Vermont Restaurant Dishes Whipped lardo at Bluebird in Burlington...wish I was eating it now. A Switchback might go nice. |

Burlington VT, best bar with a fireplace Bluebird is the place to go...No fireplace as far as I know, but great food and beer. I don't know if any place in Burlington has a fireplace. |

Bluebird certainly has been hyped, but does it deserve such rough treatment. The ambiance and the food were good. Huh? What else does a restaurant need to do? Have a good time for you? I understand the service was sub-par and the portion size too small. I think Bluebird just opened? Is that true? If so, there is plenty of time to tighten-up. In Burlington they will realize the demand for vegetables/vegetarian dishes, especially in the summer. The portions are going to be small at 11-15$ anyways. Sushi grade Maine fluke for 11$. How much fish did you expect. Local food costs more for restaurants than national purveyors, I am stoked to get up there. It sounds like they are doing a good thing. |

Success! Like you said, I took a short walk in the woods after I posted. As far as I could tell they are everywhere. I am psyched to have a stash for the spring. Thanks again. |

Almost every supermarket has fiddleheads, but where are the ramps? Where can I find ramps locally? If I am to look for them myself, where do I start? Thanks in advance. |

Yeah Man! |

Verde @ Stratton - Price/Performance None of those prices are correct...Your feedback is fine, but the false advertizing is bogus. If you think there is better food in either Manchester or Londonderry(seriously?) go nuts. |

Apres-ski chow between Waterville Valley, NH and Boston Biederman's...It is a great Deli/Bar in Plymouth. Good food, good beer, and cool atmosphere. |

Restaurants in Stratton, VT area Verde. It sounds like this is the place you are looking for. Located at the base of the mountain, Underneath the clock tower. Great food and wine, and stylish ambiance. |
