Dinner for 20 in Livingston NJ or nearby

Spanish Pavillion in Harrison--it's a 10 minute drive from Livingston and is right off of 280. Also would consider Hunan in Springfield--they have a back room that could accomodate a large party

Looking for NJ wedding halls

The Grand Summit Hotel did a great job for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah a few years back. The food was great and not crazy expensive

Looking for a casual French BYO around Pompton Plains

I also love Chef's Table. Haven't been to Epernay in a long time. Would recommend Passionnne in Montclair. Divina is good, but not great.

Restaurant Recommendations for great lunch near Madison, NJ

Love Rob's Bistro, although I haven't been there at lunchtime. Down the road a little bit in Chatham is Supper and Cafe Beethoven. In Summit, Roots does a great lunch.

need suggestions for dinner for a group of 8 in November

not sure-- probably in the West Hollywood area. I lived in West Hollywood for 10 years back some 20 years ago, so this is where we like to revisit!

need suggestions for dinner for a group of 8 in November

Will be in L.A. for 1 night in November. Looking for a restaurant for 8 people, 4 adults, 4 young adults, that will take a reservation, Italian, Seafood, Continental, no Mexican or Indian, serves alcohol, West Hollywood area, moderate price (25 or less for an entree)--went last year to Terroni, and the year before to Boa which were both hits--Thanks in advance!

Wedding Venues in Northern NJ or Rockland county with great food

I had my daughter's Bat Mitzvah at The Knoll Country Club (west) 2 years ago and they did a fabulous job!

Chefs Table

Was just there recently and had an excellent meal. While the decor is a bit old-school the food is very good. While there are many traditional items on the menu, I would say that they have been modernized and updated. For appetizers I had a goat cheese salad, my husband had the escargot. For dinner I had the crispy duck, and my husband had the cassoulet. Everything was excellent. I would note that it is difficult to get into on a Saturday night and you have to call 3 to 4 weeks in advance.

Anyone have a favorite BYO in Northern NJ?

dessert suggestions near Standard Grill

Taking our daughter for her 18th bday to the Standard Grill Xmas Eve and would like to go some place afterwards for dessert/coffee. She loves Crumbs and thoses cupcake places--any suggestions nearby?

Lupa or Marc Forgione

I would just be aware of the very high price that Forge charges for cocktails. We were there a few weeks ago and were quite surprised by the price of my husband's scotch's--the drinks were a small pour, and $18 apiece!

Where to go last minute on Saturday night for a great meal

Shaffer City is great but for some reason not busy

Help me find this restaurant in DC

Thank you ,Thank you, Thank you-- we're going to DC Coast next month and I'll report back!!

Help me find this restaurant in DC

Had an excellent dinner in DC 2 years ago and would like to return to the restaurant but I cannot remember the name (my daughter is quite picky and really loved it) It was in the area near the White House, seafood with an asian twist--my daughter had crab cakes , and clam chowder that was served a little differently with the solid part of the soup being served in a bowl and then the broth poured over it at the table. I had an asian style lobster. Pretty restaurant, high ceilings maybe a half floor of an upstairs.

Need recs for next Fri dinner group of 12, Beverly Hills, Hollywood , W. Hollywood area

Will be in town next week for 1 night with the family (8 adults, 4 teens) and am looking for something fun, LAish that has something for everyone. Steak, Italian or seafood will work. Last year we went to Boa and loved it. Please no Asian or Mexican. Thanks in advance

Tratoria Toscana - Whippany NJ

I was also there once, years ago and while it wasn't bad, it also wasn't very good. I also remember at the end of the meal being presented with a bill in very scratchy messy handwriting with a series of charges (we were a party of about 6) that were difficult to match up to our meal, and the server was annoyed when we asked for clarification

New to Montclair-another UWS transplant

Stamna is consistently great. Also, for a very good upscale meal is Fascino, in Montclair on Bloomfield. And one of our favorites, but not talked about too much is Trattoria Rustica. It's a BYO on Bloomfield Ave serving rustic Italian. Food and service are consistently good.

recs for weekend in West Chester /Kennet Square

Just wanted to f/u--Had dinner at Brandywine Prime Thurs evening, and Sovana Fri--I would say both were O.K. Saturday evening we started with the bike race in West Chester and then had dinner at Avalon which we thoroughly enjoyed and would easily go back to. Our next visit will try Krazy Kats. Thanks again

recs for weekend in West Chester /Kennet Square

Will be in this area for the weekend visiting Longwood Gardens etc and am looking for restaurant suggestions for my husband and I. Prefer no Indian or Mexican. Thanks in advance.

Just Moved to Summit, NJ (from Brooklyn) and struggling to find good food! Help.

I'm surprised noone has mentioned Souffle--has been around for awhile but is still very good. We went recently and it was quiet but we had an excellent meaal and very good service. Mama Tucci in Livingston has closed but I believe the owners have opened another place in Summit called Bona Vita Osteria. Lorenas is wonderful--very small hard to get into, more of a special occassion type place although casual. Also Fioino, Italian is consistently good
