Less than satisfying experience. Prixe fix dinner that night. My wife started with the caulifower soup and I had the crab cake. Soup was good but not great, crab cake tasted like it had been frozen, lots of breading, could not really taste any crab. For the entree' Duck a l'Orange which again was good but not great. The other entree' was supposed to be filet mignon, it was not. What made it worse was the waiter who chose to argue with us that it was so. Tasted like sirloin and it was cut up in small pieces and grilled and was very sinewy, if that's a word. Tasted charred and totally not like filet mignon texture or taste wise.
It wasn't bad but it wasn't filet mignon. And even if it was, why did the chef decide to screw it up and make it taste like it was sirloin. First and last experience there. Should have gone to my old stanby, Ninna's.

las vegas trip
going to las vegas in mid april. would like to know of any restaurants only locals know about.
would like to try to stay away from the strip or any other touristtype places.
