Where can I purchase fresh (refrigerated) mayo in NYC? i belive Cibo is one brand..
I do not excel at making my own and do not like the off the shelf stuff for my purposes (Russian Salad). Many thanks for any suggestions.
If you frequently make large amounts of soup, where do you store it overnight? worries about leaching?
It's not non-stick, I do not use non-stick. I am guessing it's some sort of stainless steel. i also do not store (or hardly every use) plastic, so that is out. I like the mason jar idea, thank you.

Thanks. I don't mean for freezing, just refrigerating for 2-3 days while it is slowly eaten...

I have a T-fal pressure cooker (belive it's out of stock now--i bought it on clearance at Sears a few yrs ago). I use to make chicken soup to ward off disease this season :) I've been storing it overnight (for several days) in this same pot, I refrigerate the whole thing...is this a no-no? I do have pyrex, but it is taken up with other stuff. (busy mo coking ahead for a whole week!). Thanks for any thoughts. I worry often about stuff leaching into food, so I hope I don't have another problem in my hands.
What do you roast your turkey in? I am reluctant to purchase a roasting pan, and considering a Staub piece instead--but which? Thanks!
thanks. I live in a small apt. and have a tiny kitchen, so I was trying to avoid purchasing a pan that'll be used only twice a year or so...I can justify buying my first enamel piece (LC or Staub) as they'll be used far more often. But you are right, stainless steel pans do not seem to be expensive. Thanks for your thoughts.

I have been roasting turkey in pyrex the past couple of years, looking to make an improvement this year :) Can you use LC or Staub for this purpose? If I must make an investment, I'd rather those. Thanks
Can you recomend a place for afternoon tea this weekend? Wanted to try Payard, but it's closed

Where do you recommend one orders Thanksgiving pies?
cherry, apple, etc? I used to live in Philadelphia, and we always ordered them from the Amish ladies. Do you have a favourite source of pies in NYC? Many thanks!
Where can I purchase Mariage Freres Tea, specifically Thé á L´Opéra?
I found some Marco Polo at William Sonoma, and it's great, but I prefer green or white tea...Has anyone seen the above anywhere in NYC? Or succesfully ordered online? Thanks.
Quiet, cozy spot in the Village for reluctant birthday dinner?
Thank you both. Great suggestions.

I had grand plans but since this is not a great time in our lives, we are looking to do something low-key. A nice quiet place with decent desert options would be appreciated. For reference, our favourite place is Babbo's and we might try walking in without reservations there (has worked before). Thanks in advance.
