3) Shame on the Moon- Rancho Mirage-extremely reasonable for the quality of food, fun environment.
Hope this helps.

Will be in Naples during the Christmas-New Years holidays for five nights. Our family likes nice/casual medium to upscale restaurants. We have booked already Baleens, Chops, Angelino's, and Campiello. We can't decide for the final night between Sea Salt or Cafe Lurcat. Am interested in anyone's opinions -pro/cons of each?

Ann Arbor-Best restaurant choice visiting University of Michigan
We are planning a trip in October to visit University of Michigan and will be staying close to the campus. We are looking for ideas for dinner and breakfast. We are very open to type of food, price, etc.. Want something close to campus that would give my daughter a flavor of the university atmosphere.

What is available for Passover dinner near Beverly Hills first or second night?
We will be in Los Angeles (staying at Beverly Wilshire) . Questions:
1) Does Spago do a Seder for either the first night (Monday, 3/29) or second night (Tuesday, 3/30)? If so how is the experience?
2) Any other sugggestions? Need to be relatively close 3-5 miles from the Beverly Wilshire.
Thank You!!
Gage or Coco Pazzo?
I have narrowed our choices for a Sunday night in March to these two restaurants. We are staying at the Park Hyatt so both are relatively close. I understand they are two different types of dining: one a pub the other more upscale Italian dining. We are really open to either type of cuisine and atmosphere. My question is for the price, quality of food, atmosphere and service which would be the choice?
Suggestions for dinners near Michigan Avenue
I will be traveling with a teenager to Chicago in March over a weekend and am looking for two dinner suggestions (Saturday and Sunday). Our criteria:
1) Would prefer restauarants near Michigan Avenue. Will be staying at the Park Hyatt.
2) We are very open as to type of cuisine: steakhouse , New American, Mexican, Italian restauarant. Would probably prefer something more fun/innovative.
3) Are completely open price wise. Are very willing to pay the price if it is worthwhile.
Suggestions that have been made to us not necessarily in order of preference are:
1) David Burke's Primehouse
2) Cafe des Architectes
3) Cafe Spiaggia
4) The Gage
5) Sepia
6) Blackbird
Again I need two top suggestions. Thanks.
Palm Springs for Valentine's Day...Suggestions?
Two ideas:
1) Tommy Bahama's -Fun place, great drinks and atmosphere. it will be crowded though for Valentine's day. It is in Palm Desert.
2) Elephant Bar-In Palm Desert, off of highway 111. Very reasonable prices and very kid friendly. They have great drinks and it is a fun place to go.

I NEED to know WHERE I can find the BEST STEAK in NAPLES, Florida!
Chops (city location). The best steak and much better than Capital Grille (price wise and quality)
Naples Resturant Rec's
We were in Naples over the holidays and did extensive research on this before going . Our top picks in order of preference:
1) Angelina's-THE BEST overall restauarant we went to. Outstanding food and service. Is in Bonita Sprngs
2) Chops (city location): Outstanding steak, great service.MUCH BETTER (and more affordable) than Capital Grille
3) Turtle Club-On the beach. The food is good (not great) but a fun atmosphere , is actually on the beach.
Where should I eat in Naples, FL?
I was just in Naples for 6 nights and had similar interests.
1) Angelina's-In Bonita Springs a great Italian restaurant. Best food we had. Came highly recommened from many people and we were glad we went. Excellent service and from the appetizer to the entrees to the deserts they were all great. A MUST go.
2) Chops (in downtown Naples) Outstanding steak, great side dishes and service that was terrific. Would highly recommend going. MUCH better than Capital Grille which is your typical chain steakhouse.
3) Turlte Club Near the Ritz Carlton. Fun atmosphere (it is literally on the beach). The seafood was actually very good as was the service.
4) Trulucks (downtown Naples) Food was good the service was not. We would not rush back.
We also went to M Waterfront Grille (above average not great) and as mentioned Capital Grille which was okay. Hope this helps.

Christmas in Naples
I did similar research for us as we were looking for a place to go. . I booked M Waterfront Grille for Christmas dinner. It has had very good reviews, great location and one of the few (non hotel/resorts) that are open Christmas night.
Desert area-Palm Springs, Cathedral, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta- restaurant experiences / suggestions:
Have not been to the steakhouse at the casino. As far as steak places although chains Morton's and Sulivan's are the best. LG's and Cliff both are overrated and overpriced for what they are.
Our top restaurtants we like are
1) Jillians (best atmosphere and food/service, really hard to beat)-Palm Desert
2) Quistot-Palm Desert
3) Shame on the Moon-In Rancho Mirage good quality for the price and well known among the locals for good value
4) Copely's -In Palm Springs proper, creative menu and a fun dining experience
5) Bing Crosby's-can be inconsistant at times but a fun place-Rancho Mirage
6) Corktree-In Palm Desert, creative menu

Naples Area -Restaurant recommendations during Christmas-New Years holidays
Another great reply. A couple of questions:
1) Whar about Angelina's? Do you like Naples Tomatoes over it and why?
2) Any opinions on Bha Bha or M Waterfront Grille?
3) Other than "the scene" factor is it worth it going to that location vs. the chops downtown? Any difference in the food? We arestaying at the Ritz (ocean) which is closer to downtown location.
I appreciate your reply!
