Eastern Sicily, Amalfi and Capri

We will be travelling to Eastern Sicily (Taormina and south) then Amalfi and finally Capri and looking for some choices for light lunches and great dinners along the way. All of us are adventurous and willing to travel for great eats! Will have a car in Sicily and Amalfi and will rely on taxis in Capri. Leaving end of June. Thanks for your responses.

Sicily, Amalfi and Capri Dining Suggestions Please

We will be travelling to eastern coast of Sicily (4 days), Amalfi (3 days) and Capri (3 days) in early July. Can anyone recommend dining spots for lunch and dinner? We love all types of food and varied influences; also a good mix of casual and finer dining. Any suggestions for excellent hotels with central locations for day trips would be a help also.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Restaurants Suggestions for Bordeaux and Provence

One more question...I am told that dinner dress in France is a bit more formal than here in the states. Do I need to bring a sport coat? Can I wear nice jeans? Thanks!

Restaurants Suggestions for Bordeaux and Provence

My wife and I are going to France in about three weeks for two weeks...Bordeaux, Carcassonne, Provence, Burgundy. I have found plenty of suggestions for dining in Burgundy but having trouble with suggestions for Bordeaux and Provence. We are both foodies and wine lovers preferring light lunches and great dinners. Any suggestions appreciated!!

3 Days in London

Thanks for your response Robin. We are staying at the Grafton and will be in town Thursday morning through Saturday night; leaving early Sunday for Prague. The reason I did not mention lunch is that I am sure we will be touring and did not want to spend alot of time on lunch. Thought that would be moere on the fly but if you have any thoughts, they are much appreciated. I believemy days are roughed out as follows and certainly subject to change:
Day 1:
Buckingham palace
Big ben
London Eye(?)
Day 2:
Tower of London
St Paul's Cathedral
Tate Modern Mkt
Day3:
Westmisnter Abbey
Victoria and Albert Museum
Harrads (for the girls)
Somewhere in there I need to fit in an afternoon tea ( I hear the Berkley is nice) and a tour at the British Museum.
Nights in Picadilly Circus, Covent garden and Camden Town
This is all from a little reading but I have not received any personal advice from friends as none have been to London.
Thanks for your help and advice.

3 Days in London

I am heading to London on my way to visit my son who is, and I say this with a chuckle, studying abroad in Prague. We have 3 days in London and I am looking for some suggestions for dinner and afternoon tea. My wife and teenage daughter are coming along and are foodies as well. We will be there mid-April just before the big wedding!
Thanks for your suggestions!
