Fresh pasta store in Raleigh?
Thank you both for generously posting the recipes. This is going to be my next dinner. Yum!! And I'm looking forward to buying some of your fresh pasta one of these days.
Fresh pasta store in Raleigh?
Now you have me curious about the crab pasta dish. Is there any way you can post the link to the N&O recipe? Thanks!
Anyone tried Rockwood Filling Station in Durham?
I would have to concur with the disappointment. I went last week after not having been for a while. I had forgotten how limited the menu is. Yes, yes, I realize this is a pizza place and I would have been fine with the small menu if the pizzas actually had been amazing. Unfortunately, they were soggy and nothing to write home about. For the price, they really aren’t that substantial. And my Caesar salad was way overdressed. I agree, I would rather get a take-out pizza from Pop’s Backdoor Pizza. By the way, I think Pop’s “Tomato Lovers” pizza is the bomb!
Looking for Thai/Chinese Grocery--Raleigh
You want to head to the Grand Asia Market in Cary. In my opinion, this is the biggest, most well-stocked, and authentic source for Asian groceries in the Triangle. The market is a little hard to find because the entrance faces the freeway and not Buck Jones Road. See link for map and address:

Cheap eats for group in Durham/CH?
I've successfully gone to Thai Cafe and Twisted Noodle (both in Durham) with a large group. Since they serve rice, you wouldn't have to worry about the gluten issue. Also, vegetarians could opt for tofu.
In search of the best fried chicken in Durham-Chapel Hill
I guess I'm interested in non-chain establishments. So KFC's out too!
In search of the best fried chicken in Durham-Chapel Hill
Where do people go for authentic, Southern fried chicken that's not from Bojangles?
Where to get scrumptious eclairs in the Triangle
I'm looking for some authentic, homemade eclairs in and around the Triangle. I'm more in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. Gourmandises de France, formerly in North Raleigh, used to have the best! They had coffee and chocolate glazed eclairs. But I heard they no longer exist. By the way, does anyone know what happened to the owners of Gourmandises de France and if they're still in the area baking?
