Hi folks, Does anyone know where (or if) I can buy Taybeh Beer (West Bank/Palestine) in the greater Boston area? I've had in Israel and Palestine but haven't been able to find it back in the US. Thanks. |

There's plenty of halava at places like The Butcherie but I can't seem to find coffee halava like I can get in Israel. |

Satsuma oranges in stores yet? Thanks for all the info. Went to Russo's yesterday and bought a couple of 5 lb boxes. They were good, but a little tart. The loose Satsumas (w/stems) that I got from Russo's last year were perfect...hope they show up soon. |

Best place for dinner & drinks Allston I would start with dinner at Carlo's Cucina and then walk the couple of blocks to Deep Ellum for drinks. |

Satsuma oranges in stores yet? Looking to see if anybody is selling satsuma oranges yet. I remember getting them at Russo's last year and buying them 10 pounds at a time. Anybody know of any local stores stocking them yet? SO easy to peel and so delicious. Thanks! |

Spring 2009 Openings and Closings "Moscow" grocery store in Allston is now closed. Theyhad some great halava and sold Kinder Eggs. |

Eats and Treats? crepe, anyone been? I'm a big fan of Eats and Treats. I stop in after a beer or quick meal out in Allston. The Bannana's Foster crepe was pretty darn good. |

A couple of friends and I went to Grain and Salt last night and had a fantastic meal. We ordered four vegetarian entrees as well as mango lasies and samosas. Everything was delicious and not to oily. Easily one of the better Indian places I've been to in Boston. One worry...there were not many people there for a Sat. night. If you love this place, make sure to go. I would hate to see another great Chowhound find dissapear! |

Fiddlehead Ferns: best place to buy in Boston area Hi, I know they're in season and I'm eager to get my hands on some. Where is a good place to buy them in the Boston area? |

Where to buy localy made cheeses... I'm looking for a place to purchase cheese made in New England...preferably organic or from grass feed cows. I've bought some at local farmers markets but have had trouble finding other reliable sources. Is there a good place to buy local cheese that won't break the bank? Thanks. |

I just went to Anthem and the food wasn't good at all. Bland and overpriced. Avoid. |

I believe that the perogies at Cafe Polonia are made in New York and shipped up...that's what someone at the store told me a few years ago. |

No-knead bread... problem with 2nd rise...help! I've made this bread (the one from the NYTimes) a couple of times and can't seem to get the bread to double in size during the second rise. I let the 1st rise sit for 18 hours or so, it rises then falls, and then transfer it to a cotton towel, shape it, and let is sit for an additional 2 hours. It doesn't seem to rise at all...anybody have a suggestion? |

Zocalo in Brighton- Suggestions? I second the encilhadas Ole'...they're amazing. They also do a Sangria tasting for $10. You get to try four. |

Cheryl Ann's hands down. You can buy it at the Shaw's in Commonwealth Ave. if you can't get to the Butcherie in Brookline. I also love the challah at Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline. |

Zocalo in Brighton- Suggestions? I love the Enchiladas Ole'. They're vegetarian and are made with red bliss potatoes and poblano peppers (just enough spice). I have cravings for these! They also do a sangria tasting for $10 that's very nice. |
