How about Moby Dick on Huntington?

It's more expensive than the counter service and decor would suggest, but everything you eat is made from scratch from high quality ingredients.

Everything from basic lamb kebabs to biryani is good.

Picky eater(s) South End

Note on Coda - the burger isn't on the menu anymore, but they will make it upon request.

(Edit - apparently it's on the website menu. So, they either recently put it back on or haven't updated their website in a while.)

Another One Bites The Dust - Persephone

Oh no! It was my favorite after work drinking place. They made a great version of the sazerac.

I kinda appreciated that the bar was hidden behind the clothing racks, too.

I LOVE Inaho!

It's changed a bit over the years (moved more upscale and prices have gone with it), but the owner/chef hasn't changed and is still just as good.

I'm a huge sushi fan and, IMO, it's on par or better than the places in Boston (O Ya excepted). Their cooked food (Whole Fish) is also very good.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in the Boston area?

Uptown Espresso on Columbus in the South End has deeeelicious chocolate chip cookies. Huge, soft, and big chocolate chunks.
