Fast and tasty Salads in Seattle

Are there any places in Seattle that serve quick but quality salads? I'm thinking something akin to Chop't over on the East Cost...

I've looked around but haven't found one that really was similar :(

Where to get soft shell tacos in Seattle

I'm looking to buy just the soft shells for soft shell tacos. I know QFC and Safeway will have generic ones (if they have any) so I'm wondering if there are other places that would be recommended for procuring said items

Wedding in/around LA

I’m looking for a reasonably priced location in the greater Los Angeles area to hold a wedding ceremony and reception, preferably around the Torrance, Long Beach area. Looking at a party size of about 100 people and a night time ceremony and reception.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

An important dinner in Seattle

I’m proposing to my girlfriend towards the end of this month. I’m flying her parents out to Seattle to visit and meet my parents for the first time. I’m looking for recommendations on a great restaurant for this occasion. Her parents are from Los Angeles so they’ve been exposed to good seafood however this will be their first time in Seattle. I’m more than willing to pay for a great meal, but I want the setting to also highlight what’s good about Seattle. Maybe with a view, maybe with local seafood specialties, etc. I’m looking for a place that can accommodate 6 comfortably, but not too fancy and up tight of a place that people will feel uncomfortable talking and laughing.

Thanks in advance!

Buying raw fish

Awesome, I've walked around the AVE hundreds of times and have never noticed University Seafoods! Will check it out for sure. Thanks!

Buying raw fish

Where is the best place around Seattle to purchase above-average sashimi? I personally am not a raw fish snob (I will generally eat raw fish from any establishment) but even I'm a little weary about buying sashimi from QFC or Safeway.

Again, I'm not looking for the best, just something that can get me buy.

In search of the best Udon (in Seattle)

I haven't been to Japan and I'm told that the different parts of the country will all claim their Udon to be the best. For sure Seattle's variety won't compare, but what's out there that is worth trying out?
