Where can I find a good and authentic Banh Mi?
My co-worker introduced me to the Banh Mi sandwich for the first time. I live in DTLB and I'm trying to avoid driving all the way to Santa Ana just for a sandwich. Will someone please recommend a good place in the surrounding LB or LA area.
CUPCAKES GALORE!
Auntie Em's in are delicious. I actually heard about their cupcakes on The Food Network. I drove from over there the following day. The red velvet cupcake just melts in your mouth. Cupcakery in Long Beach has really good cupcakes as well. My favorite is Chocolate on chocolate.
Best Menudo in LA
Preferably Weekends. I live in Long Beach. I don't mind driving out to LA or surrounding areas for Menudo. To be more precise, I'm looking for a hole in the wall place. The kind of place that sells Menudo by the ladle or by the size of the pot you bring from home.
Any good restaurants in Cerritos?
El Rocoto is pretty good and the service is always great. The Food at Sam Woo is awesome but the service isn't, maybe it's the language barrier. If you're in the mood for tacos you might have to drive 15 minutes from Cerritos but it's worth the drive.
There's always Little India in Artesia which borders Cerritos off of Pioneer Blvd. Good Luck!
