Oyster Festival Norwalk CT THIS WEEKEND
I went to the festival last night. Glad I did, considering it was canceled today. And with all this rain, it'll be a definite mudpit tomorrow!
As for the food, the St Ann's Club is always a winner. Love their food. Ziti and Pizza Fritte... YUM. As are the stuffed baked potatoes at the Norwalk Fire Department booth. And they eye candy ain't bad either.
Overall, I was not impressed this year. Forget the fact that the cost to get in has gone up to $12, but there was also only one tent of vendors, when in previous years there have been two of three. The old standbys were there, as they are every year and that made me happy, but I was itching to see new stuff.
