I'm not sure. I just buy the bags of sprouts from my local Safeway. Unfortunately, I don't have a bag in my frig at the moment to give you more details...

The bean sprouts I stir fry would invariably come out sour tasting and figured it was my fault. In talking to my mother, she tells me that I needed to stir fry the sprouts first, then add the salt after plating.
It does seem to work, and now my bean sprouts taste like they should. My question is: is there a logical basis for adding the salt after cooking, or am I just hallucinating?
