At Chateau Les Crayeres in Reims. Started with a simple lobster appetizer with just a drizzle of olive oil. The entree consisted of sweetbreads wrapped in bacon; the sweetbreads melted in my mouth and the bacon provided enough crunch and saltiness to balance it out. The meal ended with a desert of strawberries prepared three different ways, including freshly cut with a balsamic reduction, a small slice of cake and then a tart, all served alongside the most incredible cheese cart. I can't remember what the chesses were, but ti was the epitomy of luxury and decadence.
