Cheapish ($50) pre fixe meals in DC?
My wife and I enjoy the occasional pre fixe meal. On a recent visit to Boston, we were surprised to find several $40 - $60 pre fixe meals (~4-5 courses, very good quality). This is very different than the expensive pre fixe meals we're used to in DC.
I hope this means that we just haven't looked hard enough. Does anybody know of any restaurants in DC/Baltimore that offer reasonably cheap pre-fixe meals?
Looking for good tasting menu in DC
I'm looking for a good restaurant with a tasting menu in DC. I've been to Palena and Obelisk, and found them to be excellent. I've looked at Eve and 2941, but I find them a little too expensive. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I'm trying to find a specific restaurant for my wife for her birthday. I know its named after the building number, and I think its 8000 or 9000 block on river rd, md. Can anybody help me? I've spent a long time googling and I can't find it anywhere.
