ISO HOME made Shrimp Chips
Yep. Took only a few minutes to find it. The English preparation instructions made it clear what it was.

Maybe they are right

ISO HOME made Shrimp Chips
Ok. Found the shrimp chips on the top shelf at T&T near the snacks aisle. Plan to try them tomorrow afternoon.
In an article on Joanne Kates leaving the G&M CH and this thread are mentioned. Apparently we are a bunch of dummies. Good for 5 minutes entertainment. It is in the Comments section near the end of page 1.
The Chickery - Spadina South of Richmond (David Adjey's new casual spot)
Costco chicken is usually a great bargain and lotsa protein for the money. Seasoning while present seems to be largely without taste but a little BBQ sauce (also from Costco) produces a fine meal.
Metro's Chicken is the best I believe for taste and a bit high for price .
Hot Pot ...Take Out
I'm going to T&T in a couple of hours. Is the meat labelled for Hot Pot. Also is the base so labelled? I have a real problem trying to find things at T&T so I need as much info as possible. My finance spoke only Chines till about 3 years old but she doesn't read much of it now.

Thanks. I will put the address into my GPS. I assume this is the Kennedy road in the Brampton area?
ISO HOME made Shrimp Chips
OK Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll try T&T on Cherry street this afternoon.
I have looked there recently but didn't see them. I had assumed they were no longer available.
ISO HOME made Shrimp Chips
Great. I can get some this weekend at the T&T on Cherry street. Any idea of where in the store or a name on the label?
ISO HOME made Shrimp Chips
Maybe I should find them in any Asian supermarket but I haven't. Any recollection of a particular market and location in the store?
ISO HOME made Shrimp Chips
It used to be possible to buy small poker chip-like chips which when put into hot oil suddenly expanded into shrimp chips. Can't find them now.
Does anyone know where they can be bought?
Bars at Woodbine & Danforth?
Brass Taps at Logan and Danforth has some great food and cold beer. Service is always pleasant.
ISO Fresh Eggs
Actually I think your post is bang on topic. Can you give any additional info so someone looking for it would know they found it--Name for example.
ISO Fresh Eggs
I haven't asked FFF yet about their eggs But I will. Quite a few suggestions to follow and quite an education about types of eggs in just a week or so.
ISO Fresh Eggs
OK I'll look into it. Don't really mind a drive in the country but not driving around is a better idea.
ISO Fresh Eggs
Ok sounds good to me.
What did you mean by "I'm still recommending Jenny Svetec's farmgate eggs". Is there some sort of controversy that I have missed. I'm planning to go to the farm in the near future but want to know what, if anything, I should know.
Where oh where to get canned or packaged poutine sauce (e.g. St. Hubert) in east end Toronto
I have seen the Poutine sauce in Loblaws and Valumart. Possibly in Metro. Usually near the canned gravy section.
ISO Fresh Eggs
Thanks jayt90. Checked the website and its says they are free range. They also say they have graded eggs. Do you know what the issue is?
ISO Fresh Eggs
Well the eggs were very fresh and appropriately priced.
Can anyone direct me to a source for Free Range eggs near or in the GTA?
Whole Foods - Bayview and Broadway
First St Clair then Eglinton and now Bayview and Broadway. I guess this is public-private partnership in action.
PC Products to go Artificial Flavour and Colour Free
My main shopping including groceries is at Costco with 2-3 trips a week usually to the Leaside Loblaws to get a couple of things too small to be sold at Costco.
I enjoy (!!) going to non Loblaws stores (eg Longo's. Highland farms) to see/get brands not available at the Weston stores. Small mind small pleasures I guess.
ISO Fresh Eggs
Well I have no experience with free range eggs so its a learning experience I guess.
ISO Fresh Eggs
Looks like I'll be passing by this place next week and the idea of comparing fresh white eggs with range fed eggs leads me to the Farm Gate.

Where can I buy farm fresh eggs in or near the GTA?
A short drive in the country is no problem.
Critique my "must try" list for Toronto!
I wouldn't pass up Goody's Diner.
The neighbourhood looks like a scene from an "after the bomb goes off" film but the burger's are well worth the trip.
bars/pubs/lounges/places for drinks where 40somethings aren't out of place, where conversation is possible without straining your voice, and the music isn't turned up to nightclub levels between 10:30 pm and midnight....
I like the Jason George near the SLM. Very low rent and usually quiet-just right for 60 somethings.
St. Lawrence Market - "World's Best Food Market" in National Geographic List -
I recall seeing live chickens and pigeons in cages and goats tied up inside the SLM back in the late 40's. Never saw them butchered. I did see a goat get loose and run down Nassau street in Kensington about the same time.
St Jacobs Farmers Market?!
What is the current condition of the Etobicoke market near the Etobicoke civic centre?

Is Churasco of St Lawrence the place beside the Paddington Pump near an entrance?
