Where to Find Japanese Panko Bread Crumbs?
I use Panko all the time and I have found them at both Dominicks and Jewel, so you don't necessarily have to go to an ethnic grocery store to find them.
Good Eats near Joliet?
It's a little outside Joliet, but if you want really good Chicago Deep Dish Pizza go to Lou Malnati's. I think the closest one to Joliet is in Naperville.
Restaurant Picks for Geneva, IL
My sister and I are taking our mom to Geneva for a spa weekend for her birthday and are looking for restaurant ideas for dinner. Something nice, not too casual but not super fancy either. Any type of cuisine except asian. Any suggestions?
What's to Eat in Naperville?
I agree, the sangria at Meson Sabika is so so but the food is fantastic and it's just a fun evening.
Also, I used to live in Naperville and House of Emperor was my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.
Bolingbrook, IL Rec's
The Promenade mall in Bolingbrook has some pretty good restaurants. Gordon Biersch Brewery is a casual atmosphere with really good food. If you want something a little nicer, the Woodlands is really good.
Another good restaurant in Bolingbrook is Branmoor's American Grill. It's a nice place but casual enough to wear jeans.
Restaurant Suggestions for Anniversary Dinner
We haven't decided where we're staying yet, so we are fine with taking a taxi. Looking for great food a romantic atmosphere would be nice but not absolutely necessary. We're probably leaning towards either a steakhouse, italian or seafood about $75 per person
