Best Seamless Web meals/dishes? Seamless Web (http://www.seamlessweb.com/) is a website that offers online ordering and delivery from restaurants in your area. It is similar to Takeout Taxi (it actually uses Takeout Taxi for some of the restaurants that don't offer their own delivery) but it has a wider selection of chioces and avoids a lot of extra surcharges. It's popular in New York for personal use and from what I've seen mostly popular here in DC with law firms who offer corporate accounts to employees working late. Anyone can use it though and it's very accurate in getting the specific restaurant orders right (i.e. you can speficy if you want your steak meduim rare or make sure you get a choice of beverage in your combo platter). I'm surprised it hasn't caught on more since the restaurants you can order from are pretty good so far. |

Does anyone know where the closest Paris Baguette (Korean cake and pastry chain) is to Washington, DC? I live in the District and would LOVE to find one, the desserts are fabulous! WHY I love them: The cakes are light and slightly spongy and the icing is not too sugary. Perfect for people who don't like typical sheet cakes or really heavy cream-icings. Also, as with most products that come out of Asia, they are prettier than the average cakes -- great treat to bring along to a party! (I heard they're flown in from Seoul to JFK every morning and then trucked to all the branch locations.) so THAT's why they always taste fresh... <mouth watering> .... |

Anyone been to Comet Ping Pong? I went there tonight for the first time and I will say that the pizza was excellent, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We sat at the bar and enjoyed wings (the meat was falling off of the bones) which was good, but they are coated in a dry rub which was nice and spicy, but I was craving the typical red buffalo style hot sauce. The quality of the chicken though made up for the difference in sauce, For the pizzas, the crust was thin and crisp, and the sauce very wet, I love my pizza with alot of sauce, and these pies did the trick. There are alot of bad reviews of Comet Ping Pong on here from late 2006 when it first opened, I did not go before, and was hesitant to go because of the reviews, but I took a shot and made a go of it. I am happy to report that I was very pleased by the quality of the pizza. And yes, I have been to 2 Amys, Paradiso, RedRocks, Ellas, and Matchbox, and I can say that these pizza now hang with the likes of 2Amys and Paradiso. I will certainly be returning to Comet Ping Pong when I get the pizza craving, and I encourage those of you who have been before to give it another shot, and those of you that have never been, should certainly try it, for something new. |

Meal delivery in Greensboro, NC Help! I am looking for a place who will deliver in Greensboro, NC. My mother-in-law just had surgery (she's in bed) and her husband (both in their mid-60's) can't cook! I'm looking for a place that will deliver items like a tray of lasagne, or turkey and stuffing, meals that can be eaten over days or even come frozen and be heated up. I live in DC, and would like to order food for them to help them out. Any ideas out there? Thank you!! |

Where to eat in Dupont Circle? Hank's Oyster Bar, in general, is Awesome - neighborhood feel, Bistro Du Coin is a busy little french place - open late night with yummy food, Firefly (hotel Maderia) is also nice with good fare, and there is a new place Called Jacks in 17th and Q, I think which is supposed to be laid back an good. |

Transplanted New York-er needs help! Philly BYO's and Center City delivery (Philadelphia) You are very close to Audrey Claire's. They are excellent!!! Beulah suggested all the big names in the area, of course they are good. But Audrey Claire's is a local secret and just as good, if not better, than the better than the more $$$ places. |
