Inexpensive dinner tonight (Monday) in Mpls

We ended up at The Local (I should have been specific-- most places downtown would be new to me since I don't make it up there much). I had the bison burger, which was great. He had the pot roast, which I assume was great because he didn't share. :) We started with the baked artichoke dip, which I liked but was incredibly rich.

So for two of the higher-priced entrees and one mid-priced app, we got out of there with a tab of $47 plus tip. Not bad!

OK, on a whim my SO and I are spending the night at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis. I would love to go someplace new and great to eat, and I have lots of ideas if we go someplace spendy (or with sort of normal downtown foodie-place prices). But I'd really be excited to find someplace inexpensive-- as in, where the two of us can share an appetizer, each have a decent entree and spend something like $40?

The other catch? It's Monday. My first craving was for Gardens of Salonica, but not on Mondays, sadly. Wanted to try the Strip Club, too, but ditto.

Any recommendations? Walking distance from the Hyatt would be great (Nicollet Mall near Grant), but we are also happy to drive. We both love all kinds of food-- Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai may be out tonight, though, because we've been eating a lot of that lately.
