Good delivery food around W 59th and 10th

For Pizza delivery go with Sacco on 9th Ave and 55th Street. Other sold delivery options are Vynl Diner, Eatery, Hayashi Ya and Burrito Box. Hit menupages.com and browse in the West 50s.
Some good neighborhood places in your direct nabe are The Greek Kitchen on 58th and 10th and Whym on 9th Ave between 57th and 58th. For more upscale you could go with Blue Ribbon on 58th in the 6 Hotel or something in Time Warner like Porter House or Bar Masa.

Going to Alto for Dinner...

The 4 course tasting menu is a great way to go. And, yes, if they have the duck for two- don't miss it. No matter how you configure your menu make sure to include some pasta somehow as Chef Michael White is a wizard with it.

Omido?

Anyone gone to the new Japanese spot on Broadway and 53rd. Early reviews have been really positive and I'm in for reservations this weekend.

Great Tea, WiFi and Easy Chow

Ok seeking a place to get out and about with the laptop and drink some gourmet teas and maybe snack as well.

The only place I know of really is AROMA in SoHo on Houston and it's a good option but wondering if anyone else has any other ideas..

thx!

Best Casual Restaurants on Ninth Between 42nd and 57th

I'll put the New Orleans influenced Delta Grill (48th and 9th Ave) in this category. Across the board, the food is solid (especially anything blackened or traditional Cajun/Creole) and the prices are very reasonable. The service can be a bit sloppy but for a casual dinner out.. it's a great option.

BYO sounds really good since I have a ton of older vintage Italian stuff that I can bring down. Tell me more about Vetri and Melograno!

1 Night In Philadelphia.. Need Restaurant Recc

Greetings
I am staying one night in Philadelphia at the Sofitel hotel (17th and Sansom) and was wondering if anyone had some chow-worthy options for a nice dinner nearby.

Cuisines preferred would be Mediterranean/Seafood, Italian or an Asian flair.
Places with rockin' wine lists A+

Thanks in advance.

Wine Shops- Lower Westchester

I'll be a few days staying in Westchester just North of the city and would love to check out some of the best wine shops the area offers. High-end, especially Italian stuff A+ as is a large selection.

Seeking Upscale Italian On Staten Island

Just curious.. are there any upscale Italian restaurants on Staten Island? I'm meeting some people there and trying to find the right spot. Doesn't need to be Babbo or Manhattan equivalent- just a place where the service and food is real good and the wine list is taken seriously.

Thanks

Any Japanese/Asian Restaurants With Good Wine Lists???

My colleagues and I love Asian food but don't care for Sake- opting instead for big Italian and French reds.. Are there Asian restaurants in the city with expansive wine lists?

Thanks in advance!
