Oxford, Mississippi on Sunday

the options are limited. this link should really help you out:
http://www.oxfordcvb.com/dining.html

i would go with L&M's for brunch and Yocona River Inn for dinner if you want to experience the finer eats of Oxford. in the past i've always taken people to Old Venice for sunday lunch but word on the street is it has gone downhill with new management.

Oxford...

skip Taylor Grocery, the catfish is so overrated unless you like lots of salty breading on tiny fillets and the world's smallest hushpuppies. it's more about the scene of byob and drinking during the long wait on the porch. my favs are Ajax and City Grocery.

Best Burger's on The Strip?

just thought of the Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian. they offer a few burgers, last time i had the burger melt and could only eat half. for big and juicy, check this out:
The Max Burger
Our Greatest Hamburger Creation! Certified Angus Beef Topped with Cheddar Cheese, Crisp Applewood Smoked Bacon, Sauteed Mushrooms, Onions and Roasted Short Ribs. Served with Fries

Best Burger's on The Strip?

if you have never been to an In n Out - GO! for a burger fanatic, it must be experienced. be sure to get the fries too.

Best place to have lunch near Venetian?

Delmonico offers lunch, you can view the menu online. The prices are cheaper but the quality and service are the same as dinner.

Eats near the ballpark in Memphis

another vote for Ajax if you want casual, good eats. can't beat the meat and veggie plates.
City Grocery is excellent but more upscale.

Old Venice (on the Square) is great too.

Gulf Shores

spent 5 nights in Orange Beach earlier this summer.

we really liked Doc's. arrive early or expect a huge wait.

our favorite place was a bit outside of Gulf Shores in Elberta. totally worth the drive. nothing fancy just good ole seafood. closed mondays and dinner service starts at 5pm. we got there at 4:40 and there was a line of people waiting outside.
