Looking for places around Concordville-Brandywine area

Terrain! The setting is unique in a antique greenhouse and the new chef is fantastic. Worth the trip.

Philadelphia - The City of Puppy Love

As the proud human to two really old beagles, I love to spend time with them. I also believe that a restaurant really isn't the place for them. But I just found out today that Terrain at Styers, is hold the fist Dog Days of summer. Our furry friends will be welcome. I plan on checking it out.

Ribeye Steaks

I love the steaks at costco and the Fresh Market at Britton Lakes. Costco also sell Rib roasts that you can cut up yourself. I have never been disappointed with either

Wanted: Garlic Scapes

I saw them at pete's produce today. It is always worth the trip to Pete's

coffee shop at the Wynnewood train station

Does any one know the name of the new coffee place at the Wynnewood train station?

Your Favorite Fruit Pie Recipe?

Hi Northbayfoodie,
I use to live in Novato, I now live, work and make pies in Pilly, PA. This time of year is hard for seasonal fruit pies. What I remember about CA is the blood oranges. What about a caramelized blood orange tart or even a orange moose tart.

Any Philadelphia Winter Harvest Members?

Only one place comes to mind the only place. Willow creek Orchard. They sell salsa and jams from their own fruits and Veg. They sell their 100% organically grown greens and sell as much local produce as possible, which is considerable. Take a look you will not be disapointed. www.willowcreekorchard.com.

West Chester dinner recs

I like Simon Pearce, the food is ok, it is pricey. The atmosphere is is very romantic. For a quick bite and maybe take away you can't beat Carlinos.

Costco in North Wales/Montgomeryville

I love costco, I know it can be very overwhelming. But after a few trips you will get acquainted. You can't beat the prices and the selection. In the beginning you may over buy or see something that appears to be a good thing, but doesn't work out that way. I will always buy my apples at Wolffs, pick my berries at Willow Creek, and buy corn at Petes. But when I need 70 pounds of kitty litter and 8 pounds of butter. I know where to go. So go explore, get some kind of homing device for your car, and load up. It might
be a long winter.

heirloom/antique apples?

Check out Wolffs Apple house, ( Pennel rd. Lima, they have a web site )it may be really far out of your way, but if it is an apple and it is available they will have it.

Pig Out Take Out in Glen Mills

We went once. The sauce was ladled on way too heavy. The brisket was microwaved and still not warmed. I would not recomend it.
