Great India is actually really good. As is C1 in the same strip is great if you like Chinese. Just down the road by Brookdale Mall is 50's Grill, a great old-fashioned place with blue-plate specials and homemade pies, cakes and malts. It's a real gem.

Quality Minneapolis Chinese Lunch Buffet
C1 is great, but I think Yummy Buffet in Champlin off of 169 has better seafood. I think the quality of all their food is great, Great Moon Buffet in Maplewood off of White Bear is great too, if you are in that area.
My favorite in Minneapolis is the buffet across the street from Pings. I forget what it is called, but they feature Chinese and Indian food on the buffet. I got Sesame Chicken, cream cheese puffs, Palak Paneer and Naan all on one plate! It was wonderful.

Caramel Rolls
Try Dreamcoat Coffee in Oakdale MN. It's a new coffee house in the old Mrs. B's building. Caramel rolls are made fresh everyday and they are dripping in gooey caramel...not bread-y like a lot of caramel rolls. Great coffee, baked goods and enviornment.

MSP- Clam Chowder
I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of Clam Chowder and the best I have ever had is at Kozlaks. It was AMAZING!
Best fine dining in Brainerd Lakes Minnesota?
My parents went to Ivan's and weren't impressed. We all went to Quarterdeck and DEFINITELY were not impressed...with the food or the service. Prairie Bay is wonderful and so is the Black Bear Lodge, especially for the Walleye!
Liberty Custard?-MSP
I'm a huge fan of frozen custard. Culver's works in a pinch since it is so close, but Adele's in Excelsior is my favorite, if not a bit of a drive. I drove past Liberty this weekend and wonder if it is worth stopping at next time I am in the area? I've heard mixed reviews...

Longfellow Grill...it's made with Cotswold and Mango Chutney! Best grilled cheese I have had in the Twin Cities!

I couldn't agree more! My sister who lives in Brainerd CRAVES this place and it is a MUST visit when she comes down to visit. The Pad Thai is so good and the Lemongrass Special Fried Rice is wonderful and contains chucks of that ridculously good Sausage. I pity those who have not discovered this gem!

Napa Valley Grille at MOA has a Malted Chocolate Pot de Creme that is TO DIE FOR. I know it's a mall...and kind of a chain, but it is SO worth it!
