Hi All,

I searched the board and didn't find any threads on late night dining in SD. I am new to the area and need places to eat late. My friend is flying in tonight around 9:30 and we want to eat around 10.

I already know of Modus, Cafe Chloe, and City Deli.

What else is there?

Graduation Dinner for a Group of 20? Midcity/Westside

Thank you so much! Those are great suggestions. Do any stand out for their atmosphere? I have family coming into visit that have never been to LA.

Not more than $100 per person. I would prefer to keep it inbetween $50-70 per person. Many of the people attendiing don't drink so I imagine that won't be too difficult. Thanks!

I am graduating from law school in a few weeks and want to make reservations for a group of 20. Have you attended any group dinners that had a great atmosphere and tasty food? I live on the Westside but anywhere within 25 minutes is fine.

Thanks for your response. We would like to spend around $100 a person excluding drinks or less. My mom flew in from SF, she doesn't live here but grew up here years ago. We are all Bay Area foodies but she won't eat anything too adventurous. Thanks!

My sister and I (26 & 27) are in Seattle to take my mom out for her birthday. We are still grad students so we are on somewhat of a budget. We want to splurge but not rack up $200 per person somewhere. Do you have any recs? Somewhere with a view would be great. Also where is a good place we could have drinks and watch fireworks?

NYC on a Budget / Brunch / Dinner / Etc

We are two SF foodies that are really excited to explore NYC this weekend. Unfortunatly one of us just got laid off and we have to watch our budget.
Do you have any general budget recommendations ($25 pp or below)?
What is your brunch recommendation?
We are staying near 2nd & 91st in the UES, any close eats that are good are appreicated as well.
