Returned from Grand Case last night. Enjpoyed meals at Il Nettuno and L'Escapade especially. Many are doing 1 to 1 for cash purchases.

Had another wonderful meal at Cheever's last night. The strip steak special was excellent, others had the pork chops and the chicken fry and were very pleased.

We and a dozen family and friends had brunch at Cheever's on Sunday to celebrate our daughter's performance in the OCU production of La Traviata. It was really excellent. Wonderful and top-notch service. That is a little gem in the middle of Oklahoma City.

That would be Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

Old Town restaurants that are enjoyable and are not chains include EggCetera--open for lunch, Larkspur, Old Mill Tasty Shop (also open for lunch), Cafe Moderne (great gelato)and Uptown Bistro.

The Saffron Salmon is outstanding. The salmon is wonderful, and the spinach salad is to die for.

Tried Iron Starr for lunch on Monday. Agree that their sides are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Southwestern Slaw. Meats (pulled pork and brisket) were OK, not stupendous.
