Thanksgiving in Aspen...

Thank you, we both love sushi so that will definetly be a spot to check out. Were there any local attractions that you found that are must-do's?

Thanksgiving in Aspen...

Hello everyone!

My girlfriend and I will be in Aspen for the 26&27th of November and would like some recs on the dining scene. Not sure the overall size of Aspen but we are staying at the St. Regis and will have a car for transportation. Its the first time to Aspen for the two of us so something memorable would be nice but cool local spots are also good. We'll be skiing most of both days so not sure we'll feel like living up to the glitz and glam that is offered there but nice to have ideas, thanks for the help!

pop rocks

Does anyone have any recipes or suggestions on how to find one for making pop rocks? I've heard a couple chefs around town have them as amusees or whatever but I cant find anything online and I have no idea where to even start. THANKS!

phx - non-budget busting steak?

I know Cork restaurant in south Chandler corkrestaurant.net offers a summer tasting special, salad, entree (yes filet) and desert, w/ glass of wine for $20. Keep in mind that it is a small plate restaurant so your portions will be smaller but for $20 its not a bad deal.

Wade Moises Pasta Bar (Phoenix)

I was recently told that Wade Moises (of Sassi N. Scottsdale) is supposed to be opening up a late-nite pasta bar in downtown around the end of the month. I was just wondering if anyone had any more info. Is still the target date? Or just any misc. info. would be cool, THANKS!

Heirloom Tomatoes in Tucson, AZ

I'm not sure if you are ever in PHX but I know that The Farm @ South Mountain (32nd st between Baseline & Southern...closer to Southern on the West side) sells them but they do not open for another 3 weeks. Very reasonably priced as well if you are not in PHX maybe check the website for them. Also the Botanical Gardens sells them as well but again...in PHX
