Looking for really good Chicago style deep dish pizza in Jersey
Hi,
We are having a very un-fulfilled craving for some deep dish pizza, and Pizzeria Uno is not doing it for us...does anyone have a place to recommend?
Anyone remember Tiffany's wine and cheese cafe in Commack Corners?
Looking for a place like this, laid back atmosphere with good wine and cheese pairings and live entertainment, on LI, NYC or NJ...thanks very much for your feedback.
Wine & Cheese cafes in Central NJ?
When we were teenagers on Long Island in the 70s and 80s, we frequented the wine and cheese cafes for dates, dinners etc. There were usually plenty of board games to play, and more often than not, live entertainment in the form of acoustic guitars, singers, etc. My husband is a great musician and had many gigs over the years at these venues.
Now we live in central NJ, and cannot find places like this to go to. We are wondering if such places still exist? Willing to drive to other areas to have the experience, and do some performing!
Good food and live Blues music/Central NJ ??
Can anyone recommend a great place for live music (nothing raucous) and good eats in Central NJ? The Pine Tavern in Matawan/Old Bridge has excellent food but has stopped the live entertainment, a true shame. So a bunch of us are searching for a replacement...Middlesex County and 20 miles around...thanks!

Coming into NYC for a viewing of The Wrestler at Chelsea cinemas on 23rd St bet 7th & 8th...our friend plays an aging wrestler in this movie. Very cool! Would like to have an early
(5pm) dinner before the 7pm showing. Can anyone recommend a place that's casual and good? All cuisines considered...many thanks! Close to the theatre if possible.

Hosting a cocktail type party tomorrow even though I stink at the drink making...I want to have the right ingredients on hand...what type of olives do I buy for martini's? I have Stoli in the freezer, do I need to buy vermouth? Can you advise what would be a good basic bar set up? I can't go nuts on the spending, please.

While vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine, we had the most amazing popovers & tea lunch at Jonathans in Acadia National Park. We would love to recreate that closer to home, but do not know of any places like that. Any ideas from the masses? Thanks!

Country/rustic French for lunch or dinner
Some years back I had heard of a smallish country French restaurant in NYC, I saw a picture and it seemed like a lot of wood/stone, possibly a fireplace. I cannot remember the name or where in the city it was, but the ambiance looked wonderful. Does this strike a chord with anyone? Price not an issue. Thanks!
