What do I do with these cocktail onions?
Cook some diced bacon until crispy and remove from pan, add halved or quartered Brussels sprouts and saute in bacon drippings (can add butter if needed) until just tender, add cocktail onion, bacon and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

No, however my pan was only 9-1/2 X 13 so I adjusted the recipe accordingly. It was very good.

Help finding a ubiquitous cocktail for a booze hater
Blood Orange Italian soda with an orange wedge or twist is also excellent with Campari. Add a shot of gin if you want to amp it up.
Help finding a ubiquitous cocktail for a booze hater
A Negroni is booze, booze & booze, how about an Americano if you think she would like Campari.
ISO a Vegan Pasta Salad for Brunch that will please Veg and Non-Veg alike
Instead of grains or pasta how about a sweet potato salad, it would be very good with the ham. http://eatingwelllivingthin.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/autumn-salad-in-a-gorgeous-color/
Overwintering strawberry plants
Yes take the containers into an unheated shed or garage for winter. Don't worry about lack of light. The plants will be dormant and don't need light in winter. You'll probably have to add just a little water every few weeks to keep the roots from getting too dry.

What is your "perfect breakfast"? [moved from Home Cooking]
What, no fried potatoes. I'm happy as a pig in slop with a couple of eggs over easy on top of some fried potatoes and a toasted English muffin
cilantro coleslaw
My favorite cabbage & cilantro slaw is from Sunset:
In a large bowl, mix 1½ qts. finely shredded cabbage (about 10 oz.), 1⁄3 cup chopped cilantro, 3 tbsp. fresh lime juice, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1⁄4 tsp. red chile flakes (I use a lot more), and salt to taste. Makes 4¼ cups.
It is great with their Baja fish tacos & chipotle tarter sauce.

Waterlogged frozen fish?
I thaw my frozen fish in a colander then pat dry with paper towels, always tastes excellent no matter how I cook it. This is fresh from the sea fish I have frozen myself, not sure about Kroger's fish. You'll find lots of great fish recipes on Chowhound.

Recipes That Intimidate - What recipes are you reluctant to try?
+2 on pie crust, bread no problem, but pie crusts are always a failure. I have had hands on instruction from mother, aunt and mother in law, all excellent pie bakers, I just can't get it right, Pillsbury to the rescue.
Pork Loin leftovers - what to do?
Did you save the drippings for gravy? Hot pork sandwiches are very good.
stuffed pork loin
I like spinach, mushroom, onion, garlic & sun dried tomato. If the loin doesn't have a nice layer of fat on top I'll wrap it in bacon.
