Best Churrasco Chicken?
What is the exact name or address of this place? Can't seem to find it.
Bombay Poori - Another decent place 'bite the dust'!!
I am curious to this answer as well. Khana Khazana and Nawab are now closed. All i know is Indian Kitchen at Yonge/Clark but haven't tried it.
Cardinal Rule on Roncesvalles Ave - Anyone been yet?
Apparently for an extra $1 you can have real maple syrup, huh.
Scarborough Gems
I believe St Andrews is on the sw corner of McCowan/Ellesmere. When i went way back when, they had deep fried mars bars mmm...

Best Cupcakes in Toronto?
Second Prairie Girl - not dry, both cake and icing taste good. However i've only tried Desmond & Beatrice, Cupcake Kisses in Burlington, and Life is Sweet - PG comes out on top!
Coconut fan seeking 'Coconut Spread'
May i ask what you can do with the coconut butter/spread? Do you put it on toast, what else?
Boneyard Grill - they had me at TCF!!!
Anyone try the meat yet?????
That's great they have Cheesecake Factory. However if i want that i go to covetedcakes.com. They have cupcakes now! But their price list doesn't seem to be working at the moment.
Anyone been to the new Filipino Resto at York Mills & Don Mills?
Can anyone confirm if Jollytops has fried chicken like Jollibee? Or do they just sell filipino food? Can't tell on the website jollytops.ca.
The Burger's Priest - Queen and Coxwell
I didn't realize they posted two new burgers on facebook this morning. Judgement Day and Armageddon, check it!
The Burger's Priest - Queen and Coxwell
In the past few months we've been to Grindhouse, Burger Bar, and Craft Burger (now called Big Smoke). Golden Star is always a fave but so far Grindhouse has been winning the race - good big meat patty cooked to order with good onion rings if i recall. Finally tried Burgers Priest today and they did not disappoint! After much research on facebook and chowhound to figure out what to order, i got the Pope - double double with Option, and my friend ordered a High Priest (big mac) with the Option (forgot about the Smoke boo). Surprisingly the guy (owner?) said no one's ordered that before and my friend could actually name the burger, he suggested Job, but the guy came up with Nebuchadnezzar (Nebakanezer). That's quite a name so i'm not sure it'll stick (maybe abbreviate to the Neb?). Anyhoo those two combos came to about $40 ouch, the guy even said those are two expensive burgers you ordered, no kidding. I was worried i couldn't finish my Pope but the patties are small, good almost fall apart. The Option is good however the cheese salty. The fries aren't great but better than expected, until they get better i wouldn't get a combo. The service okay better than expected, i guess they're listening to the feedback (the cult following alone is crazy!), however the 5 or so cooks seemed a little disorganized. All in all good, the prices a bit painful but will definitely return!
The Fry Basket -- good greasy spoon at Yonge and Steeles
Went for fish & chips last month - disappointing (see my post on an f&c thread). Went for breakfast last weekend - still disappointing. Omelet just okay. Asked for home fries crispy, got em crispy but the inside seemed undercooked. My friend's bacon was hard and burnt. Had the same cook each time so unsure if there are other cooks. Despite the good service, there's very little chance of returning unfortunately. Hmm wonder if next door Midway/Gabbys is any good...
Buffalo Wild Wings suggestions
Waiting for a review, anyone? Wondering if its worth the 1H drive from t.o. - buffalowildwings.com
Fish and Chips
Went here for fish and chips earlier today, prolly one of the rare days where they're open later for Good Friday till 6pm. Disappointing. Fish batter not good - greasy, flaky, crumbly. Fish itself overcooked. However the fries were good, crispy and plentiful where you can share an order. Wanted to like this place but perhaps things have changed since 2009, or perhaps its better for breakfast as some chowhounders have said.
Where to buy light coconut milk?
I usually get groceries from Superstore or T&T. T&T has many brands but not light, Superstore only has a couple brands. Been using this lately so it'd be good to cut the calories and fat. Any help will be appreciated!
where is the best fish and chips in Toronto/GTA??
Wanted to try this place today but found out they're closed Sundays boo.
Sufganyot (Jelly Doughnuts)
I'm hoping to revive this thread. Where is the best place to get these now, Goldstein Bakery still? Recently tried these for the first time from Kiva's, west of Bathurst/Steeles. I believe they spelled it "suffganiot". Good, better than the average jelly donut. Got a stale one in the bunch though boo, gotta eat fresh!
Best Churrasco Chicken?
Does anyone know of a place that delivers? Thinking of ordering for our work xmas potluck downtown, unfortunately no one drives to work though...
Quinoa in Toronto
A friend went to the Scarborough Costco for me last weekend and couldn't find it. Could i possibly get more information? I assumed dry pasta but could it be fresh? Name brand? Costco location?
Malaysian?
Does anyone know where we can get murtabak in the city? Saw that booth again at Nuit Blanche last night.
Lai Toh Heen- Chef's Special prix fixe lunch
Does anyone know if they're still doing this $40 special?
Souvenir from Detroit, Michigan?
Thanks so much for replying! All the pop fudge and chips sound great but unfortunately my friend was on a tight schedule and brought back nothing oh well. In reply to vtombrown's post, i usually bring my friends' goodies from my travels. But they usually have no idea what to bring back from their travels, you chowhounders rock and usually help me out! Also i do try to contribute when i can =)
recommendations for really good chinese dim sum
Charles,
Since you seem to be the expert, would you be able to suggest a less expensive dim sum place?

Sourcing Lobsters and Lobster Bibs (Downtown)
They're definitely not at every Dollarama, been checking for bibs at a few locations for awhile to no avail. Don't think they're at Markham/Lawrence in Scar, and Dufferin/Clarke in Thornhill among others. Thanks Tbonetak, will try to check Dufferin Mall this week.
