Brunch in Pittsburgh
Point Brugge is great. The best brunch in the city is Coca cafe in Lawrenceville but there is a long line on Sundays. The specials are wonderful!
Square Cafe in Regent Square is also pretty good.

I will offer up 2 suggestions for the Southside as that is the area I am most familiar with.

I know you did not mention mexican but this is much more than that. Yo Rita has unique combinations and they just updated the menu for fall. Food is great as are the drinks.

Good Italian in a cozy space. I hear the chef has changed recently which may explain an overdone duck breast I had a few months ago but aside from that one time I have always left happy.

Where can I buy a Boned Bird?
I would love to make a Turducken for Thanksgiving but do not think I have the skills or the steady hand to bone all the birds. Does anyone know where I can buy a Turkey, Duck and Chicken deboned in Pittsburgh? Any idea what the cost is associated with this?
Worst case scenario, any place selling pre-made Turducken locally (I am well aware I can order online)?
Yo Rita - Taco Heaven
I am so thankful that KS took this place under his wing and made it an interesting place to eat in the SS. We were there on a night blessed with the Menudo (tripe) tacos. We also tried the tongue and marrow taco, duck and ahi tuna tacos. I have to say that the Menudo was by far the best taco of the night although all were great. The drinks are well made too. This is a can't miss.
Any new chow places in Pburgh?
Yo Rita is a great choice for someone who is into trying something new. We were lucky to dine there on a night when tongue and marrow tacos and tripe tacos were the specials. They were both amazing and presented wonderfully. They also have a wide selection of tacos for those who like to play it a little safer. The Jimica salad was also a great starter and the quality of the margaritas can not be beat.

that is zenith.The food is good but by no means great. It does have great atmosphere and a plentiful thrift store where you can shop after you eat..You choose an entree and get the buffet and coffee with it all for $10. Not a bad option.

Pittsburgh Where to find Duck, Capon, and really good meat?
I have purchased duck at strip district meats but they only had frozen. They said they have fresh occasionally but never when I have been there. Quality was pretty good for frozen but that is about all you will get there.
