12 Week Stint in Downtown Seattle

Folks and Fellow Hounds:

I will be traveling to Seattle on a gig for the next 12 weeks, pretty much every week. I'm there on a pretty serious deal, so lot's of work and hours, and only breaking for food. This means I need a good list of places around 1900 Fifth Avenue, The Westin to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I prefer a good walk, but will take a cab, no problem. Have money to spend, and I'm not a tourist. I know Seattle pretty well, and I rank Steelhead Diner high on my list of good places if you want to know how my tastes lean. I'll eat pretty much anything , except goat cheese and cilantro, as long as it's well prepared.

Don't need a huge list, just your best recommendations with those criteria.

Thanks in advance for your contribution.

Father & Son First Trip To Washington

This is our first time with Ethiopian food. Any recommendations on something to read to understand the meal, and what to expect? I'm intrigued and am totally into a new dining experience.

Father & Son First Trip To Washington

Fellow Hounds - Our son and I are going on our first trip to Washington, and are looking for some interesting eating experiences over a 3 day weekend. We're both adults (well, he is anyway....), and love to eat. We prefer not to be driven by big money experiences, but are adventurous, and will go almost anywhere, and eat almost anything that is well prepared, from the best ingredients.

Any ethnic pursuits are ok, including "American" experiences which stand out.

Farmers markets for breakfast are always good places to eat on a Saturday or Sunday morning, even though we won't be buying anything to take back to hotel to cook - goodies only!

So - can you help? If that means pointing me to good prior reference postings, thanks!

Lunch Delivery near Penn Station

Folks:

Big challange here. I will be in NY on Tuesday with 5 colleagues. We will be working from an office near 7th and 34th Penn Station, I think. We would like a delivery of some great food for a nice lunch, and some snacks for the afternoon. Is it a good idea to get a delivery from Zabar's or something like that? Any other ideas? We have a mix of non-meat eaters and carnivores, as well as low-carb, healthy lifestylers, etc....

Any ideas?

San Diego to LA

I am travelling between these two cities by car on Wednesday. Any great road chow I should know about? Will end up in Anaheim at the end of the drive.

Thanks!

Dallas List Needed - Between DFW and Downtown

I will be travelling frequently to Dallas starting immediately. I'm feeling lazy, so would like to hear a few suggestions on favorite spots between the airport and downtown from fellow 'hounds. I could peruse the borad, but as I said, I'm feeling lazy....

I eat anything which is well prepared. Cost in not a barrier. I am travelling on business, so not looking for anything romantic, just good chow.

Anyone have a good, short list?

Thanks!
