Chinese Caterers

Thank you so much for your reply, lwong. It definitely helped a lot. My fiancee mentioned that outside catering will not be fresh and will definitely affect how the food will taste. My best friend mentioned sunny palace in nj and east manor in elmhurst seems to be an okay place and we're definitely keeping that in great consideration.

Chinese Caterers

Do you know if they share multiply parties in one room, Jen kalb? Thanks for the reply.

Chinese Caterers

Thanks for the reply Miss Needle. Our budget is not great, not completely horrible. Jade Restaurant in Flushing does have good food, we go there for dim sum when in Flushing, but we didn't get to see their banquet room. I don't really want to share a room with other parties, which I have learned is pretty common with Chinese receptions. I looked at the website for Queens county farm museum and they have a kitchen, but it has to be an insured caterer. And the big let down I have with the Chinese restaurants are the decors, which just doesn't appeal to me at all. And East Manor in Elmhurst was good price, but not exactly the cleanest, but right now is our first choice because of the price. But, are there other places that are better and equal in price?

Chinese Caterers

Hi everyone. I don't know if this question has been asked before, but does anyone know a good chinese restaurant or caterer in the new york area that does outside catering? My fiancee is Chinese and wants to have a Chinese wedding banquet, but we are not really into the decorations with Chinese restaurants. We are looking to have the reception at a reception hall that is affordable because our budget is pretty small. Anyone who can help us or has had experience with Chinese restaurants catering outside would be very helpful. Thanks.
