HELP!! Eye Of Round Prep Method??
Thanks but I am aware of that method and it works great if everyone likes med/med rare but I'm cooking for an older crowd that wants it cooked more than that. I went ahead and did it and will post results!
HELP!! Eye Of Round Prep Method??
I have a 3-4lb roast that I was thinking about cutting into 1.5" slices and pounding out to around 1" to put on grill as steaks. Any thoughts on this? This cut is tough and I am looking for something I can do for people that like their meat cooked differently. Will this method tenderize the meat enough??

looking for Cleveland restaurant recs--work trip, good food, quiet
My fiance and I just finished our dinner at this place and it was excellent! The most expensive dinner item was $16.95 and the quality, freshness, & portion size were the best. I had the duck choo chee and she had the green noodle curry, both were great. She finishe with the deep fried coconut ice cream and I had the honeydew slush not one complaint. The bathroom was immaculate and it was very quiet. Try this place even if you never had Thai food and you won't be dissapointed!!

Gas Grill Question
It doesn't have a clip but the pin is crimped at the bottom so you could put a match in there. Thanks so much for the answer...No wonder the manual didn't mention it!!

I'm a charcoal man myself, but I just helped my Father-In-Law assemble his new gas grill and on the back right leg there is a 6" metal pin attached to a chain and there is no mention in the manual about it...Anybody out there know what it is for??

Correct Temperature For Sushi/Sashimi
99.9% of the places I have been the fish has been at least chilled. I went to a new place last night and the fish was room temp. It was good but it made me wonder. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Sweet Basil Pizza in Westlake, OH!! It is the best NY style pizza in the midwest! Everything is hand made with only fresh ingredients. The owner is great and will make anything you want. They only make pizza here, no wings, subs, etc.
Food Network Chef Anthony Ruggerio
Has anyone heard of this guy? He used to have a few of his own shows on the food network in the mid 90's but I heard that he broke the law or something and now i can't find anything about him. He was a good chef and tv personality. Just curious.

Fresh Seafood in Cleveland???
I am from Florida and I can't find a fish market that sells fresh ocean fish. Everything has been frozen and I can't find things like swordfish, ahi, etc!!! Am I just out of luck??
