Asian or dessert food trucks in Santa Rosa and environs

I'm looking to find an Asian food truck and a dessert food truck to cater my wedding over labor day weekend. The wedding is in Santa Rosa. I started my search in SF but thought I should include trucks up north (lower gas cost and no license issues operating in Santa Rosa).

I'm having some trouble finding trucks. I've only found Sift cupcakes so haven't been very successful!

Any Chowhounders have suggestions? I know Asian is a broad category; Chinese or Singaporean/Southeast Asian would be best (I'm Chinese and spent time in Singapore), but I an open to anything (I've already asked chairman bao and little green cyclo in SF).

Thanks much in advance!

Financial District Weekend Lunch Options?

This post is for those of us who need to lug our laptops into the office on a weekend (Guess where I'm at now! On a sunny day!). To add insult to injury, there are very few lunch options in the Financial District. Of course, if I had the time and the energy, I'd walk to the Ferry Building or Chinatown.

Barring that, what go-to places do you have in the Financial District on the weekends? I'd start the list off with this:

1) Hi-Tea, which just opened up recently on Bush between Sansome and Battery, is open Sat 10-4. Pho and bubble tea galore.

Outside of Hi-Tea, my options appear to be Subway and McDonald's. Sigh. What suggestions do you have?

Windy's month of lunches 2008

I want to put a vote out for Front Door Cafe, which I have the pleasure of walking by every morning. I only go for breakfast but I've heard good things for lunch too.

The breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwiches are superb. These guys cook the egg in front of you, on a grill/thing. No microwave, no pre-cooked cake. The other ingredients in the breakfast burrito aren't gourmet quality by far, but the combination of ingredients in the breakfast burrito (egg, cheese, hash brown, sausage/bacon, salsa), is really heavenly.

That wasn't a lunch comment but wanted to link also.

Focaccia Grille also happens to have fantastic mac and cheese (it's a side). I previously thought Seller's Market's mac and cheese was the best, but it's gone downhill over the past two years. Thumbs up for the M&C at Focacca.

Golden Gate Dim Sum/Seafood -- New to outer Clement

Based on some recommendations on Chowhound, my bf and I went here today for dim sum. Just confirming the prices of the dim sum checklist by the poster. We sat near the front so we didn't really see the area in the back. There wasn't a wait - Sunday at 12:30 ish. We tried the har gao, siu mai, loh bak goh, pork ribs, siu long bao, and the salt and pepper tofu. Overall everything was delicious, served piping hot and timely. The total came to 18.50 or so - I think they charge an extra dollar for tea per person. (The tea was pretty good.)

The har gao had elastic, chewy skins - not my preference but better than a thick skin. The shrimp was pretty generous and sweet, a little salty but not too bad.

Siu mai was good - had whole shrimp inside. As someone mentioned - they were pretty fluffy, juicy too. Somehow a little different than most siu mai I've had, but very delicious.

Steamed ribs were as normal. Never my favorite dish so I rarely have much to say about it.

The pan fried turnip was pretty good - fried perfectly with some ham and/or shrimp in it. I thought the turnip to rice flour ratio could have been higher, but overall it was yummy.

Shanghainese dumplings were alright. They came four to an order, but there wasn't extra soup - which is really the defining highlight for me. The pork was juicy though. Skin was a little too thick. I probably wouldn't get it again.

Salt and pepper tofu was decent; we got it because we were curious and never had tofu done S&P. Small cube fried tofus maybe 1-2cm on a side. Skin was pretty thin but still too thick and almost crunchy for the dish. Pretty yummy, just probably wouldn't get it again.

The next table over ordered some big dishes including a large fried crab platter. Looked good, maybe next time for a larger group. Overall we had a good time and would definitely return.
