Why can't the Y.U. student body support a good take-out place? Because YU has a mandatory mealplan that if I'm not mistaken all full time students must join. Its like $700 per semester or something ridiculous like that. Enrollment in the high school is down , and they are not there for dinner anyway. Neither are most of the college staff. |

Quality of food at catering venues I was at a wedding in Crest Hollow 2 weeks ago. Food was horrible. Both the Smorg and the meal. Service was great however. It was a glatt kosher affair. I dont know who the caterer was. |

Glatt Kosher caterer for shul in West Orange, NJ Menagerie . Not very inventive , but delicious food and not exorbitant. |

Season's sells International Glatt polish kielbasa , or garlic ring. Season's also had an assortment of Jack's Brand sausages , back when I needed them for a recipe. |

We were there yeshiva week. Most of the ice cream sold in the parks have an OU-D . There is a restaurant attached to the Chabad house that was very good , and handled the rush very well. Food was tasty , portions generous , and we fed a hungry family of six for under $150 . I think its called Kosher Culinary . |

Dougies is still open in Teaneck and Great Neck , and usually they deliver anywhere for the Superbowl. |

We're heading to Orlando during Yeshiva week. Any suggestions regarding kosher eating establishments would be great (dairy and meat) . I hear there is a kosher stand in the park itself ? Also,if anyone knows how I can find out about a morning minyan ? thanks in advance |

Do you brine the turkey first ? We are planning to deep fry this year as well , for our first time. I have seen a friiend do it , but i seem to recall him injecting it with some flavorful brine first. I dont own one of these brine injectors and was looking for other ideas. |
