Extra Virgin [KC]
I have been there twice in the opening week.
Finally a high quality and interesting tapas restaurant in Kansas City. I thought the food was diverse and hearty with a great menu covering so many different small to medium dishes, the place had an updbeat ambience and was busy both times, the service attentive but not overly and the wine list had a good mix from around the world.
My favourites from the two trips would be the braised goat with red cabbage (the tenderest piece of meat you'll find), the grilled octopus and they do some great vegetarian dishes like the parsnip and carrot salad and the baked polenta with an egg yolk on top.
I will definitely be back a 3rd and more times as this is the kind of casual place that you can have a few drink but not fall short on the food.

Dinner for 30 in LA
Good question:
Cost per person would be around $60 - 90. The diners will be reasonably adventurous so ethnic is fine
Dinner for 30 in LA
I am looking for a reasonably nice restaurant where I can have a dinner for 30 at the end of January. The guests will be flying in for a wedding but this is just an informal meal for some friends before the big night. Near Beverly Hills would be preferable. Would love to hear your suggestions
Thanks in advance
