Agreed, however this is the one place he has been dying to try and it is a special birthday occasion, so we are going....I've heard great things, and am prepared for the expensive prices...just wondering in regards to ordering, and portion size- as I do hear they try to upsell you.

Padre Figlio - Anyone been yet?

I tried it a while back. While it is a huge gorgeous restaurant, it was EMPTY. The food happened to be very good, a little on the pricey side...wouldn't die to go back, but I live right there so it's convenient. I would suggest trying El Pote Rincon on 38th and 2nd.

Flagel-late Me!!!

I eat a flagel every single morning--used t to live in stuy town and would get a David's flagel every morning. Now I am more in Murray Hill and Bagel Cafe (bagelry) and Bagels and Schmear both have GREAT flagels.

I am from Long Island, where everywhere serves them- bagel boss, barbaras, let there bagels etc
