Driving from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara
Thanks for the recommendations everyone. We're going during the week and planning on driving up the coast. We like anything local or just really great restaurants that aren't too touristy.

Any recommendations for FANTASTIC anniversary dinner - CT
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a fantastic place to go for an anniversary dinner. I was reading reviews of Brasserie Pip, Le Petit Cafe in Branford and Cavey's in Manchester today. We're looking to stay within an hour of New Haven. In the past years we've gone to L'Espalier, Top of the Hub and the Four Seasons- all in Boston. We have no price in mind, just looking for great food, romantic atmosphere and something we'll remember. Thanks for your help!
Looking for quiet lunch place to catch up with old friend in Trumbull/Stratford/Southport area

Looking for quiet lunch place to catch up with old friend in Trumbull/Stratford/Southport area
Hello. A friend and I are meeting for lunch in the Trumbull/Stratford/Southport area and I'd love to get some ideas for good restaurants where we can sit and talk and catch up. Anywhere in that general area would be great.
Thanks!

Kosher Caterers Fairfield County/Westchester County
Looking to throw a Friday night dinner and Saturday kiddush lunch and want to find a really good caterer that is not too expensive. Any ideas? Any new caterers out there?
NY Renaissance Ballroom & Catering? Any other recs?
I'm looking for venues to plan a Sunday morning graduation party for my husband. I have about 200-300 people on the guest list and am looking to do something simple foodwise - all dairy - bagels, lox, salads, desserts, etc. I am not a New Yorker so I'm not familiar with any venues. I'm hoping for something in the Flatbush/Brooklyn area or in Manhattan. Thank you for your suggestions.
Office Holiday Party Private Dining Boston - any recs?
Any good recommendations for an office holiday party in downtown boston or Cambridge (t accessible)? We're looking for a private or semi private room. We have 10-15 people and we're looking for more upscale places.
Thanks!!
What to do with dry leftover chicken?
We have 2 whole chickens that are leftover from the holidays. Right now their just sitting in our freezer. Does anyone have any good recipes for using the chicken meat? We have a slow cooker too.
Thanks!
Private Dining for 9
BB - We went to LockeOber two years ago and last year we went to Capital Grille in Chestnut Hill. Our only complaint about CG in Chestnut Hill was that it was too far away from public transportation for people to get home. Other than that, the food and atmosphere was fantastic. So, something in the "LockeOber" price range is okay. If the restaurant has the typical fish, steak, etc. on the menu that would be great too.
Sunkist fruit gems
Just bought some for my wedding. You can find them at BJ's. They come in containers of all of the colors. Mazel Tov!
Private Dining for 9
Does anyone have any good recs for a holiday party - private dining for 9 people in the Boston area? Thanks!
Lunch options Needham St Newton?
If you're willing to travel a few blocks away from Needham Street, O'Haras is a fantastic pub on Walnut Street and Baker's Best, which is also great, is around the corner on Lincoln Street.
Kosher Fruit Slices - Where to get them
Does anyone know a place where I can order color-specific kosher fruit slices (the jelly candies)?
I've tried a few from companies in the Boston area and they were disgusting. I'm looking for the candy to be shades of blues and purples and whites and taste yummy.
Thanks in advance!
