TASTE - has anyone been recently??

I am going to dinner at Taste tonight. I haven't been since it first opened a few years ago. Does anyone have recommendations for what to order or what NOT to order? Thanks!

35th birthday dinner - where to go?

Osteria Mozza could be fun if you are in the mood for Italian. STK has a fun vibe, but you might not want two steak-centric restaurants since you are going to Craft.

Another suggestion if you want to keep it simple yet delicious is Amarone on Sunset. A hidden gem in my opinion. Fantastic service (the owner works almost all the tables since it's so small) and ridiculously authentic, delicious Italian. They always finish the meal with some complimentary moscato, which is lovely.

Best lunches/dinners that won't break the bank...

If you are going to be in the hollywood/west hollywood area you should try out M Cafe on La Brea & Melrose. It's super healthy and yummy.

Another good lunch spot is Joan's on 3rd (3rd & Sweetzer). Joan's has tons of delicious sandwiches, salads and sweet treats.

In Santa Monica, you could always stop by Bay Cities Deli (Lincoln & Broadway) for an awesome sandwich (it's also a great Italian grocery), but be prepared for long lines at lunch.

Hope this helps!

Fiance's 40th - Spago, Cut, Craft, Dan Tanas,?? HELP

Another suggestion is STK...it's a little pricey, but the food is good and the atmosphere is really fun. They have a DJ and the music is usually great.

Another SUSHI question

honestly...I think some of the best sushi in town is at Izakaya by Katsu-ya (3rd & La Cienega). It's chill, they have crazy attentive service and the fish is super fresh. I like it also because it's reasonably priced.
