SE Michigan summer fruit markets
Try Block's market in Romulus. It opens the last week in July and closes in October.
It is on Eureka and Middlebelt, close to the DTW airport.
This place is so busy on weekends you need to get here early to get a parking spot.
I like to go during the week around 9:00am.
They have fruit, vegetables, bread and pastry. Right now they have perinnals for $2.99 a gallon. I will be going back on Monday to pick up more.
They have there own farm and everything is very fresh. There sweet corn is the best and the best price.
