Balsamico? Anyone been?
I was there for lunch a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I had a fish soup that the chef had just made (a very tasty broth with fish, clams and mussels) and the faggioli salad with tuna, also good. The owners are very friendly and welcoming which adds to the warm atmosphere. At the next table I noticed two women sharing a pizza that looked really good. I hope they do well - it is a cursed location!!
Gelato - Mt.Pleasant south of Eglinton
I've been there twice now and I know I will be there a lot this summer. It really is better than Hollywood. The chocolate, lemon and pistachio are all amazing! Looking forward to trying more flavours!
how about cava?
I've been twice and really enjoyed it both times. $60 per person including wine. Good value!
Stork on the Roof - NEWS
All I know is that they will be opening sometime this fall and their preparations are being filmed for an episode of the Food Network's "Opening Soon".
Stork on the Roof - NEWS
Walked by Esco-Pazzo on Yonge Street south of Eglinton tonight and I noticed it is closed and there is a sign on the window saying the Michael and Jennifer (formerly of Stork on the Roof) will be opening their new restaurant QUINCE in this location. Great news!
